HCI has announced the release of their new 13.3” Hospital-grade Low Voltage Swing Arm BedMate II Television for use in hospitals, dialysis clinics, infusion centers, and other healthcare facilities to entertain and educate patients.
The 13” BedMate television features new technology, such as ultra-reliable capacitive touch buttons which are designed to withstand heavy usage and are sensitive to weak fingers. Other product features include:
- rounded corners and halo for patient safety
- built-in USB media player
- USB clone
- pillow speaker jack
- easily replaceable front-facing earphone jack
- wide screen LED backlit LCD panel
- EDU channel system to assign hospital education channels
The new 13” BedMate is compatible with most existing 28VAC or 24VAC low-voltage TV systems.
HCI televisions are made exclusively for the healthcare industry with patients in mind. The 13” 
BedMate halo allows patients to move the TV freely on the swing arm without harm to the TV or patient. USB Clone makes setting up numerous televisions in the facility easy and efficient. The TV’s antimicrobial acrylic surface makes cleaning easier and helps protect patients from nosocomial infections. With the TV’s built-in USB media player, patients can watch movies, listen to music or view pictures on demand.
HCI offers accessories, such as the low-voltage swing arms and power supplies, to accommodate the new BedMate television.
